Mark's journey into technology began at the age of 11 when he bought his first computer. Inspired by a TV program about robots in Japan, he ambitiously attempted to develop a tokenisation model in a few KB of memory. Undeterred, he shifted his focus to game development before his corporate career began to take precedence. Among his unique early projects was a school initiative that hinted at iPod capabilities 14 years before Apple’s announcement, as well as developing software for a Monorail at Chester Zoo and an automated ride in the Champagne Caves of Reims, France. He later transitioned to consulting, spending nearly 15 years designing and building highly scalable digital platforms for national and global brands. In 2014, Mark rekindled his passion for data and AI, creating data-driven and machine learning services for Public Sector organisations in the UK and KSA, as well as for utilities, the travel industry, a virtual reality start-up, and a luxury watch brand. He has also authored a course on Deep Learning with TensorFlow and has spoken at conferences across the UK and Europe. Outside of work, Mark is a devoted father of three and treasures the time he spends with his family. He leads a deeply spiritual life, often meditating and seeking inner alignment before taking action. In contrast, Mark also loves the thrill of motor racing and dreams of one day competing at Le Mans.
